Genesis 11:5–8

eBut the Lord came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built. And the Lord said, “Indeed fthe people are one and they all have gone language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they hpropose to do will be withheld from them. The Lord said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and confuse their language so they will not understand each other.”
