31 I will pour out my wrath on you

and breathe out my fiery anger against you;

I will deliver you into the hands of brutal men,

men skilled in destruction.

32 You will be fuel for the fire,

your blood will be shed in your land,

you will be remembered no more;

for I the Lord have spoken.’ ”

31 And I will pour out my indignation upon you; I will blow upon you with the fire of my wrath, and I will deliver you into the hands of brutish men, skillful to destroy. 32 You shall be fuel for the fire. Your blood shall be in the midst of the land. You shall be no more remembered, for I the Lord have spoken.”

I will hand you over to cruel men

who are skilled in destruction.

32 You will be fuel for the fire,

and your blood will be spilled in your own land.

You will be utterly wiped out,

your memory lost to history,

for I, the Lord, have spoken!”

and blast you with the fire of my anger.

I will hand you over to cruel men,

experts in destruction.

32 You will be like fuel for the fire;

you will die in the land.

You will not be remembered,

because I, the Lord, have spoken.’ ”

They are skilled at destroying others.

32 You will be burned in the fire.

Your blood will be spilled in your land.

You will not be remembered anymore.
