Acts 5:16–20

16 Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing msick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed.

17 nThen the high priest rose up, and all those who were with him (which is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with 1indignation, 18 oand laid their hands on the apostles and put them in the common prison. 19 But at night pan angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said, 20 “Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people qall the words of this life.”

16 Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.

17 Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy. 18 They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. 19 But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out. 20 “Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.”
