Psalm 78:32–34

32 In spite of this fthey still sinned,

And gdid not believe in His wondrous works.

33 hTherefore their days He consumed in futility,

And their years in fear.

34 iWhen He slew them, then they sought Him;

And they returned and sought earnestly for God.

Psalm 78:32–34 — The New International Version (NIV)

32 In spite of all this, they kept on sinning;

in spite of his wonders, they did not believe.

33 So he ended their days in futility

and their years in terror.

34 Whenever God slew them, they would seek him;

they eagerly turned to him again.
