Psalm 133:1–3 — The New International Version (NIV)

How good and pleasant it is

when God’s people live together in unity!

It is like precious oil poured on the head,

running down on the beard,

running down on Aaron’s beard,

down on the collar of his robe.

It is as if the dew of Hermon

were falling on Mount Zion.

For there the Lord bestows his blessing,

even life forevermore.

Psalm 133:1–3 — English Standard Version (ESV)

Behold, how good and pleasant it is

when brothers dwell in unity!

It is like the precious oil on the head,

running down on the beard,

on the beard of Aaron,

running down on the collar of his robes!

It is like the dew of Hermon,

which falls on the mountains of Zion!

For there the Lord has commanded the blessing,

life forevermore.

Psalm 133:1–3 — King James Version (KJV 1900)

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is

For brethren to dwell together in unity!

It is like the precious ointment upon the head,

That ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard:

That went down to the skirts of his garments;

As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion:

For there the Lord commanded the blessing,

Even life for evermore.

Psalm 133:1–3 — New Living Translation (NLT)

How wonderful and pleasant it is

when brothers live together in harmony!

For harmony is as precious as the anointing oil

that was poured over Aaron’s head,

that ran down his beard

and onto the border of his robe.

Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon

that falls on the mountains of Zion.

And there the Lord has pronounced his blessing,

even life everlasting.

Psalm 133:1–3 — New Century Version (NCV)

It is good and pleasant

when God’s people live together in peace!

It is like perfumed oil poured on the priest’s head

and running down his beard.

It ran down Aaron’s beard

and on to the collar of his robes.

It is like the dew of Mount Hermon

falling on the hills of Jerusalem.

There the Lord gives his blessing

of life forever.

Psalm 133:1–3 — American Standard Version (ASV)

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is

For brethren to dwell together in unity!

It is like the precious oil upon the head,

That ran down upon the beard,

Even Aaron’s beard;

That came down upon the skirt of his garments;

Like the dew of Hermon,

That cometh down upon the mountains of Zion:

For there Jehovah commanded the blessing,

Even life for evermore.

Psalm 133:1–3 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! Like the precious oil upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, upon Aaron’s beard, that ran down to the hem of his garments; As the dew of Hermon that descendeth on the mountains of Zion; for there hath Jehovah commanded the blessing, life for evermore.

Psalm 133:1–3 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

See how good and pleasant it is

when brothers and sisters live together in harmony!

It is like fine, scented oil on the head,

running down the beard—down Aaron’s beard—

running over the collar of his robes.

It is like dew on ⸤Mount⸥ Hermon,

dew which comes down on Zion’s mountains.

That is where the Lord promised

the blessing of eternal life.

Psalm 133:1–3 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

How good and pleasant it is

when brothers live together in harmony!

It is like fine oil on the head,

running down on the beard,

running down Aaron’s beard

onto his robes.

It is like the dew of Hermon

falling on the mountains of Zion.

For there the Lord has appointed the blessing—

life forevermore.

Psalm 133:1–3 — The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)

How very good and pleasant it is

when kindred live together in unity!

It is like the precious oil on the head,

running down over the collar of his robes.

It is like the dew of Hermon,

which falls on the mountains of Zion.

For there the Lord ordained his blessing,

life forevermore.

Psalm 133:1–3 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)

Look, how good and how pleasant it is

when brothers dwell together in unity.

It is like the fragrant oil upon the head,

that runs down upon the edges of his robes.

It is like the dew of Hermon that runs down

upon the mountains of Zion,

because there Yahweh commanded the blessing—

life forever.

Psalm 133:1–3 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)

How good and pleasant it is

when God’s people live together in peace!

It’s like the special olive oil

that was poured on Aaron’s head.

It ran down on his beard

and on the collar of his robe.

It’s as if the dew of Mount Hermon

were falling on Mount Zion.

There the Lord gives his blessing.

He gives life that never ends.
