10 Go into the rocks, hide in the ground

from the fearful presence of the Lord

and the splendor of his majesty!

11 The eyes of the arrogant will be humbled

and human pride brought low;

the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.

10 Enter into the rock

and hide in the dust

from before the terror of the Lord,

and from the splendor of his majesty.

11 The haughty looks of man shall be brought low,

and the lofty pride of men shall be humbled,

and the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.

10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, For fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty. 11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, And the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, And the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.

10 Crawl into caves in the rocks.

Hide in the dust

from the terror of the Lord

and the glory of his majesty.

11 Human pride will be brought down,

and human arrogance will be humbled.

Only the Lord will be exalted

on that day of judgment.

10 Go into the caves of the cliffs;

dig holes and hide in the ground

from the anger of the Lord

and from his great power!

11 Proud people will be made humble,

and they will bow low with shame.

At that time only the Lord will still be praised.

10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty. 11 The lofty looks of man shall be brought low, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.

On that day the Lord alone will be honored.

from the presence of the terror of Yahweh

and from the glory of his majesty.

11 The haughty eyes of humanity will be brought low,

and the pride of everyone will be humbled,

and Yahweh alone will be exalted on that day.

10 Go and hide in caves in the rocks, you people!

Hide in holes in the ground.

Hide from the terror of the Lord!

Hide when he comes in glory and majesty!

11 A man who brags will be brought low.

Men who are proud will be put to shame.

The Lord alone will be honored at that time.

10 Enter the rock and hide in the dust

From the terror of the Lord and from the splendor of His majesty.

11 The proud look of man will be abased

And the loftiness of man will be humbled,

And the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.
