Amos 3:6–7

6 If a 3trumpet is blown in a city, will not the people be afraid?

cIf there is calamity in a city, will not the Lord have done it?

7 Surely the Lord God does nothing,

Unless dHe reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.

do not the people tremble?

When disaster comes to a city,

has not the Lord caused it?

Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing

without revealing his plan

to his servants the prophets.
