2 Chronicles 24:2–4

2 Joash did what was right in the eyes of the Lord all the years of Jehoiada the priest. 3 Jehoiada chose two wives for him, and he had sons and daughters.

4 Some time later Joash decided to restore the temple of the Lord.

2 And Joash did what was right in the eyes of the Lord all the days of Jehoiada the priest. 3 Jehoiada got for him two wives, and he had sons and daughters.

4 After this Joash decided to restore the house of the Lord.

2 And Joash did that which was right in the sight of the Lord all the days of Jehoiada the priest. 3 And Jehoiada took for him two wives; and he begat sons and daughters. 4 And it came to pass after this, that Joash was minded to repair the house of the Lord.

2 Joash did what was pleasing in the Lord’s sight throughout the lifetime of Jehoiada the priest. 3 Jehoiada chose two wives for Joash, and he had sons and daughters.

4 At one point Joash decided to repair and restore the Temple of the Lord.

2 Joash did what the Lord said was right as long as Jehoiada the priest was alive. 3 Jehoiada chose two wives for Joash, and Joash had sons and daughters.

4 Later, Joash decided to repair the Temple of the Lord.

2 And Joash did that which was right in the eyes of Jehovah all the days of Jehoiada the priest. 3 And Jehoiada took for him two wives; and he begat sons and daughters.

4 And it came to pass after this, that Joash was minded to restore the house of Jehovah.

2 And Joash did what was right in the sight of Jehovah all the days of Jehoiada the priest. 3 And Jehoiada took for him two wives; and he begot sons and daughters. 4 And it came to pass after this, that Joash was minded to renew the house of Jehovah.

2 Joash did what the Lord considered right, as long as the priest Jehoiada lived. 

3 Jehoiada got Joash two wives, and Joash had sons and daughters. 

4 After this, Joash wanted to renovate the Lord’s temple.

2 Throughout the time of Jehoiada the priest, Joash did what was right in the Lord’s sight. 3 Jehoiada acquired two wives for him, and he was the father of sons and daughters.

4 Afterward, Joash took it to heart to renovate the Lord’s temple.

2 Joash did what was right in the sight of the Lord all the days of the priest Jehoiada. 3 Jehoiada got two wives for him, and he became the father of sons and daughters.

4 Some time afterward Joash decided to restore the house of the Lord.

2 And Joash did what was right in the eyes of Yahweh all the days of Jehoiada the priest. 3 And Jehoiada took two wives for him, and he fathered sons and daughters.

4 And afterward it was in the heart of Joash to repair the house of Yahweh.

2 Joash did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. He lived that way as long as the priest Jehoiada was alive. 3 Jehoiada chose two wives for Joash. They had sons and daughters by Joash.

4 Some time later Joash decided to make the Lord’s temple look like new again.

2 Joash did what was right in the sight of the Lord all the days of Jehoiada the priest.

3 Jehoiada took two wives for him, and he became the father of sons and daughters.

4 Now it came about after this that Joash decided to restore the house of the Lord.
