2 Chronicles 14:9–12
9 iThen Zerah the Ethiopian came out against them with an army of a million men and three hundred chariots, and he came to jMareshah. 10 So Asa went out against him, and they set the troops in battle array in the Valley of Zephathah at Mareshah. 11 And Asa kcried out to the Lord his God, and said, “Lord, it is lnothing for You to help, whether with many or with those who have no power; help us, O Lord our God, for we rest on You, and min Your name we go against this multitude. O Lord, You are our God; do not let man prevail against You!”
12 So the Lord nstruck the Ethiopians before Asa and Judah, and the Ethiopians fled.

9 Zerah the Cushite marched out against them with an army of thousands upon thousands and three hundred chariots, and came as far as Mareshah. 10 Asa went out to meet him, and they took up battle positions in the Valley of Zephathah near Mareshah.
11 Then Asa called to the Lord his God and said, “Lord, there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, Lord our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. Lord, you are our God; do not let mere mortals prevail against you.”
12 The Lord struck down the Cushites before Asa and Judah. The Cushites fled,

Help us, O Lord our God, for we trust in you alone. It is in your name that we have come against this vast horde. O Lord, you are our God; do not let mere men prevail against you!”
12 So the Lord defeated the Ethiopians in the presence of Asa and the army of Judah, and the enemy fled.

12 So the Lord defeated the Cushites when Asa’s army from Judah attacked them, and the Cushites ran away.

11 Asa called on the Lord his God. He said, “Lord, there is no one except you who can help those who are not strong so that they can fight against a large ⸤army⸥. Help us, Lord our God, because we are depending on you. In your name we go against this large crowd. You are the Lord our God. Don’t let anyone successfully oppose you.”
12 The Lord attacked the Sudanese army in front of Asa and Judah. The Sudanese army fled.

12 The Lord struck down the men of Cush for Asa and Judah. The Cushites ran away.
