20 And all Israel sfrom Dan to Beersheba knew that Samuel had been 5established as a prophet of the Lord. 21 Then the Lord appeared again in Shiloh. For the Lord revealed Himself to Samuel in Shiloh by tthe word of the Lord.
4 And the word of Samuel came to all 1Israel.

Now Israel went out to battle against the Philistines, and encamped beside aEbenezer; and the Philistines encamped in Aphek.

Now the Israelites went out to fight against the Philistines. The Israelites camped at Ebenezer, and the Philistines at Aphek.
