The Future of Bible Study Is Here.
1 Corinthians 14:22
22 Therefore tongues are for a osign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophesying is not for unbelievers but for those who believe.
1 Corinthians 14:22 — The New International Version (NIV)
22 Tongues, then, are a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers; prophecy, however, is not for unbelievers but for believers.
1 Corinthians 14:22 — English Standard Version (ESV)
22 Thus tongues are a sign not for believers but for unbelievers, while prophecy is a sign not for unbelievers but for believers.
1 Corinthians 14:22 — King James Version (KJV 1900)
22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.
1 Corinthians 14:22 — New Living Translation (NLT)
22 So you see that speaking in tongues is a sign, not for believers, but for unbelievers. Prophecy, however, is for the benefit of believers, not unbelievers.
1 Corinthians 14:22 — New Century Version (NCV)
22 So the gift of speaking in different kinds of languages is a sign for those who do not believe, not for those who do believe. And prophecy is for people who believe, not for those who do not believe.
1 Corinthians 14:22 — American Standard Version (ASV)
22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to the unbelieving: but prophesying is for a sign, not to the unbelieving, but to them that believe.
1 Corinthians 14:22 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)
22 So that tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe, but to unbelievers; but prophecy, not to unbelievers, but to those who believe.
1 Corinthians 14:22 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)
22 So the gift of speaking in other languages is a sign for unbelievers, not for believers. The gift of speaking what God has revealed is a sign for believers, not for unbelievers.
1 Corinthians 14:22 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)
22 It follows that speaking in other languages is intended as a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers. But prophecy is not for unbelievers but for believers.
1 Corinthians 14:22 — The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
22 Tongues, then, are a sign not for believers but for unbelievers, while prophecy is not for unbelievers but for believers.
1 Corinthians 14:22 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)
22 So then, tongues are for a sign not to those who believe, but to unbelievers, but prophecy is not for unbelievers, but for those who believe.
1 Corinthians 14:22 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)
22 So speaking in other languages is a sign for those who don’t believe. It is not a sign for those who do believe. But prophecy is for believers. It is not for those who don’t believe.
1 Corinthians 14:22 — New American Standard Bible: 1995 Update (NASB95)
22 So then tongues are for a sign, not to those who believe but to unbelievers; but prophecy is for a sign, not to unbelievers but to those who believe.
