1 Chronicles 28:11–13

11 Then David gave his son Solomon wthe plans for the vestibule, its houses, its treasuries, its upper chambers, its inner chambers, and the place of the mercy seat; 12 and the xplans for all that he had by the Spirit, of the courts of the house of the Lord, of all the chambers all around, yof the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries for the dedicated things; 13 also for the division of the priests and the zLevites, for all the work of the service of the house of the Lord, and for all the articles of service in the house of the Lord.

11 Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for the portico of the temple, its buildings, its storerooms, its upper parts, its inner rooms and the place of atonement. 12 He gave him the plans of all that the Spirit had put in his mind for the courts of the temple of the Lord and all the surrounding rooms, for the treasuries of the temple of God and for the treasuries for the dedicated things. 13 He gave him instructions for the divisions of the priests and Levites, and for all the work of serving in the temple of the Lord, as well as for all the articles to be used in its service.

13 David told Solomon how to separate the priests and Levites into groups. He gave him directions for all of the work they should do when they served in the Lord’s temple.

He also showed him how all of the articles should be used at the temple.
