Micah 7:10–11

10 Then my enemy will see,

and shame will cover her who said to me,

“Where is the Lord your God?”

My eyes will look upon her;

now she will be trampled down

like the mire of the streets.

11 A day for the building of your walls!

In that day the boundary shall be far extended.

10 Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her

Which said unto me, Where is the Lord thy God?

Mine eyes shall behold her:

Now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

11 In the day that thy walls are to be built,

In that day shall the decree be far removed.

10 Then my enemies will see that the Lord is on my side.

They will be ashamed that they taunted me, saying,

“So where is the Lord—

that God of yours?”

With my own eyes I will see their downfall;

they will be trampled like mud in the streets.

11 In that day, Israel, your cities will be rebuilt,

and your borders will be extended.

10 Then she who is my enemy will see,

And shame will cover her who said to me,

“Where is the Lord your God?”

My eyes will see her;

Now she will be trampled down

Like mud in the streets.

11 In the day when your walls are to be built,

In that day the decree shall go far and wide.

10 Then my enemies will see this,

and they will be ashamed,

those who said to me,

‘Where is the Lord your God?’

I will look down on them.

They will get walked on, like mud in the street.”

11 The time will come when your walls will be built again,

when your country will grow.

10 Then mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her who said unto me, Where is Jehovah thy God? Mine eyes shall see my desire upon her; now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets. 11 A day for building thy walls! in that day shall the decree be far removed.

10 And mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is Jehovah thy God? Mine eyes shall behold her; now shall she be trodden down, as the mire of the streets. 11 In the day when thy walls shall be built, on that day shall the established limit recede.

10 Then my enemies will see this, and they will be covered with shame, 

because they asked me, “Where is the Lord your God?” 

Now I look at them. 

They are trampled like mud in the streets. 

11 The day for rebuilding your walls 

and extending your borders is coming. 

10 Then my enemy will see,

and she will be covered with shame,

the one who said to me,

“Where is the Lord your God?”

My eyes will look at her in triumph;

at that time she will be trampled

like mud in the streets.

11 A day will come for rebuilding your walls;

on that day your boundary will be extended.

10 Then my enemies will see,

and shame will cover those who said to me,

“Where is the Lord your God?”

My eyes will see their downfall;

now they will be trodden down

like the mire of the streets.

11 A day for the building of your walls!

On that day the boundary shall be far extended.

10 Then my enemy will see,

and shame will cover her who said to me,

“Where is Yahweh your God?”

My eyes will look upon her;

now she will become a trampling place,

like mud in the streets.

11 A day for building your walls;

on that day he will extend your boundary.

10 The people of Nineveh will see it too.

And they will be put to shame.

After all, they said to us,

‘Where is the Lord your God?’

But we will see them destroyed.

Soon they will be stomped on

like mud in the streets.”

11 People of Jerusalem, the time will come

when your walls will be rebuilt.

Land will be added to your territory.

10 Then my enemy will see,

And shame will cover her who said to me,

“Where is the Lord your God?”

My eyes will look on her;

At that time she will be trampled down

Like mire of the streets.

11 It will be a day for building your walls.

On that day will your boundary be extended.
