Psalm 78:41–43

41 They tested God again and again

and provoked the Holy One of Israel.

42 They did not remember his power

or the day when he redeemed them from the foe,

43 when he performed his signs in Egypt

and his marvels in the fields of Zoan.

41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God,

And limited the Holy One of Israel.

42 They remembered not his hand,

Nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.

43 How he had wrought his signs in Egypt,

And his wonders in the field of Zoan:

41 Again and again they tested God’s patience

and provoked the Holy One of Israel.

42 They did not remember his power

and how he rescued them from their enemies.

43 They did not remember his miraculous signs in Egypt,

his wonders on the plain of Zoan.

41 Yes, again and again they tempted God,

And limited the Holy One of Israel.

42 They did not remember His power:

The day when He redeemed them from the enemy,

43 When He worked His signs in Egypt,

And His wonders in the field of Zoan;

41 Again and again they tested God

and brought pain to the Holy One of Israel.

42 They did not remember his power

or the time he saved them from the enemy.

43 They forgot the signs he did in Egypt

and his wonders in the fields of Zoan.

41 And they turned again and tempted God,

And provoked the Holy One of Israel.

42 They remembered not his hand,

Nor the day when he redeemed them from the adversary;

43 How he set his signs in Egypt,

And his wonders in the field of Zoan,

41 And they turned again and tempted •God, and grieved the Holy One of Israel. 42 They remembered not his hand, the day when he delivered them from the oppressor, 43 How he set his signs in Egypt, and his miracles in the field of Zoan;

41 Again and again they tested God, 

and they pushed the Holy One of Israel to the limit. 

42 They did not remember his power— 

the day he freed them from their oppressor, 

43 when he performed his miraculous signs in Egypt, 

his wonders in the fields of Zoan. 

41 They constantly tested God

and provoked the Holy One of Israel.

42 They did not remember His power shown

on the day He redeemed them from the foe,

43 when He performed His miraculous signs in Egypt

and His wonders in the region of Zoan.

41 They tested God again and again

and provoked the Holy One of Israel.

42 They did not keep in mind his power

or the day when he redeemed them from the foe,

43 when he displayed his signs in Egypt

and his miracles in the fields of Zoan.

41 So they again tested God

and distressed the Holy One of Israel.

42 And they did not remember his power

when he redeemed them from the enemy,

43 how he performed his signs in Egypt

and his wonders in the region of Zoan,

41 Again and again they put God to the test.

They made the Holy One of Israel sad and angry.

42 They didn’t remember his power.

They forgot the day he set them free

from those who had beaten them down.

43 They forgot how he had shown them his miraculous signs in Egypt.

They forgot his miracles in the area of Zoan.

41 Again and again they tempted God,

And pained the Holy One of Israel.

42 They did not remember His power,

The day when He redeemed them from the adversary,

43 When He performed His signs in Egypt

And His marvels in the field of Zoan,
