and my eyes shall behold, and not another.

And that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body,

Yet in my flesh shall I see God:

27 Whom I shall see for myself,

And mine eyes shall behold, and not another;

Though my reins be consumed within me.

I am overwhelmed at the thought!

And my eyes shall behold, and not another.

How my heart yearns within me!

I will see him with my very own eyes.

How my heart wants that to happen!

25 But as for me I know that my Redeemer liveth,

And at last he will stand up upon the earth:

26 And after my skin, even this body, is destroyed,

Then without my flesh shall I see God;

27 Whom I, even I, shall see, on my side,

And mine eyes shall behold, and not as a stranger.

My heart is consumed within me.

25 And as for me, I know that my Redeemer liveth, and the Last, he shall stand upon the earth; 26 And if after my skin this shall be destroyed, yet from out of my flesh shall I see †God; 27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another: —my reins are consumed within me.
