James 3:9–10

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness.r 10 Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.

James 3:9–10 — English Standard Version (ESV)

With it we bless our Lord and Father, and with it we curse people who are made in the likeness of God. 10 From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.
