1 In that day the Lord with his hard and great and strong sword will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan the twisting serpent, and he will slay the dragon that is in the sea.

2 In that day,

“A pleasant vineyard, sing of it!

3 I, the Lord, am its keeper;

every moment I water it.

Lest anyone punish it,

I keep it night and day;

1 In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword

Shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent,

Even leviathan that crooked serpent;

And he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.

2 In that day sing ye unto her,

A vineyard of red wine.

3 I the Lord do keep it;

I will water it every moment:

Lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.

1 In that day the Lord will take his terrible, swift sword and punish Leviathan, the swiftly moving serpent, the coiling, writhing serpent. He will kill the dragon of the sea.

2 “In that day,

sing about the fruitful vineyard.

3 I, the Lord, will watch over it,

watering it carefully.

Day and night I will watch so no one can harm it.

1 In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong,

Will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent,

Leviathan that twisted serpent;

And He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.

2 In that day sing to her,

“A vineyard of red wine!

3 I, the Lord, keep it,

I water it every moment;

Lest any hurt it,

I keep it night and day.

1 At that time the Lord will punish Leviathan, the gliding snake.

He will punish Leviathan, the coiled snake,

with his great and hard and powerful sword.

He will kill the monster in the sea.

2 At that time

people will sing about the pleasant vineyard.

3 “I, the Lord, will care for that vineyard;

I will water it at the right time.

No one will hurt it,

because I will guard it day and night.

1 In that day Jehovah with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan the swift serpent, and leviathan the crooked serpent; and he will slay the monster that is in the sea.

2 In that day: A vineyard of wine, sing ye unto it. 3 I Jehovah am its keeper; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.

1 In that day Jehovah, with his sore and great and strong sword, will visit leviathan the fleeing serpent, and leviathan the crooked serpent; and he will slay the monster that is in the sea. 2 In that day there shall be a vineyard of pure wine; sing concerning it: 3 I Jehovah keep it, I will water it every moment; lest any harm it, I will keep it night and day.

1 On that day the Lord will use his fierce and powerful sword 

to punish Leviathan,that slippery snake, 

Leviathan, that twisting snake. 

He will kill that monster which lives in the sea. 

2 On that day sing about a delightful vineyard. 

3 I, the Lord, watch over it. 

I water it continually. 

I watch over it day and night 

so that no one will harm it. 

1 On that day the Lord with His harsh, great, and strong sword, will bring judgment on Leviathan, the fleeing serpent—Leviathan, the twisting serpent. He will slay the monster that is in the sea.

2 On that day

sing about a desirable vineyard:

3 I, Yahweh, watch over it;

I water it regularly.

I guard it night and day

so that no one disturbs it.

1 On that day the Lord with his cruel and great and strong sword will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan the twisting serpent, and he will kill the dragon that is in the sea.

2 On that day:

A pleasant vineyard, sing about it!

3 I, the Lord, am its keeper;

every moment I water it.

I guard it night and day

so that no one can harm it;

1 On that day, Yahweh will punish with his cruel, great and strong sword Leviathan, the fleeing serpent, and Leviathan, the twisting serpent, and he will kill the sea monster that is in the sea.

2 On that day:

“A vineyard of beauty! Sing in praise of it!

3 I, Yahweh, am her keeper;

I water it again and again.

Lest one afflict harm on it,

I guard it night and day;

1 At that time

the Lord will punish Leviathan with his sword.

His great, powerful and deadly sword will punish

the serpent that glides through the sea.

He will kill that twisting sea monster.

2 At that time the Lord will sing about his fruitful vineyard. He will say,

3 “I am the Lord. I watch over my vineyard.

I water it all the time.

I guard it day and night.

I do it so no one can harm it.

1 In that day the Lord will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent,

With His fierce and great and mighty sword,

Even Leviathan the twisted serpent;

And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea.

2 In that day,

“A vineyard of wine, sing of it!

3 “I, the Lord, am its keeper;

I water it every moment.

So that no one will damage it,

I guard it night and day.
