Genesis 41:39–45
39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you,z there is no one so discerning and wise as you.a 40 You shall be in charge of my palace,b and all my people are to submit to your orders.c Only with respect to the throne will I be greater than you.d”
41 So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I hereby put you in charge of the whole land of Egypt.”e 42 Then Pharaoh took his signet ringf from his finger and put it on Joseph’s finger. He dressed him in robesg of fine linenh and put a gold chain around his neck.i 43 He had him ride in a chariotj as his second-in-command,b k and people shouted before him, “Make wayc!”l Thus he put him in charge of the whole land of Egypt.m
44 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh, but without your word no one will lift hand or foot in all Egypt.”n 45 Pharaoh gave Josepho the name Zaphenath-Paneah and gave him Asenath daughter of Potiphera, priestp of On,d q to be his wife.r And Joseph went throughout the land of Egypt.

Only as regards the throne will I be greater than you.” 41 And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt.” 42 Then Pharaoh took his signet ring from his hand and put it on Joseph’s hand, and clothed him in garments of fine linen and put a gold chain about his neck. 43 And he made him ride in his second chariot. 41 Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I hereby put you in charge of the entire land of Egypt.” 42 Then Pharaoh removed his signet ring from his hand and placed it on Joseph’s finger. He dressed him in fine linen clothing and hung a gold chain around his neck. 43 Then he had Joseph ride in the chariot reserved for his second-in-command. And wherever Joseph went, the command was shouted, “Kneel down!” So Pharaoh put Joseph in charge of all Egypt. 44 And Pharaoh said to him, “I am Pharaoh, but no one will lift a hand or foot in the entire land of Egypt without your approval.”
45 Then Pharaoh gave Joseph a new Egyptian name, Zaphenath-paneah. He also gave him a wife, whose name was Asenath. She was the daughter of Potiphera, the priest of On. So Joseph took charge of the entire land of Egypt.

I have put you in charge of all the land of Egypt.” 42 Then the king took off from his own finger his ring with the royal seal on it, and he put it on Joseph’s finger. He gave Joseph fine linen clothes to wear, and he put a gold chain around Joseph’s neck. 43 The king had Joseph ride in the second royal chariot, and people walked ahead of his chariot calling, “Bow down!” By doing these things, the king put Joseph in charge of all of Egypt.
44 The king said to him, “I am the king, and I say that no one in all the land of Egypt may lift a hand or a foot without your permission.” 45 The king gave Joseph the name Zaphenath-Paneah. He also gave Joseph a wife named Asenath, who was the daughter of Potiphera, priest of On. So Joseph traveled through all the land of Egypt.

41 So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I’m putting you in charge of the whole land of Egypt.”
42 Then Pharaoh took his ring off his finger. It was the ring he used to stamp all of the official papers. He put it on Joseph’s finger. He dressed him in robes that were made out of fine linen. He put a gold chain around his neck.
43 He also had him ride in a chariot. Joseph was now next in command after Pharaoh. People went in front of him and shouted, “Get down on your knees!”
By doing all of those things, Pharaoh put Joseph in charge of the whole land of Egypt.
44 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I am Pharaoh. But without your word, no one will do anything in the whole land of Egypt.”
45 Pharaoh gave Joseph the name Zaphenath-Paneah. He gave him a wife. She was Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera. Potiphera was the priest of On.
Joseph traveled all over the land of Egypt.

44 Moreover, Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Though I am Pharaoh, yet without your permission no one shall raise his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.”
45 Then Pharaoh named Joseph Zaphenath-paneah; and he gave him Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera priest of On, as his wife. And Joseph went forth over the land of Egypt.
