Who can praise you from the grave?

5 Dead people don’t remember you;

those in the grave don’t praise you.

In Sheol who shall give thee thanks?

4 Return, Jehovah, free my soul; save me for thy loving-kindness’ sake. 5 For in death there is no remembrance of thee; in Sheol who shall give thanks unto thee?

4 Come back, O Lord. 

Rescue me. 

Save me because of your mercy! 

5 In death, no one remembers you. 

In the grave, who praises you?

5 People can’t remember you when they are dead.

How can they praise you when they are in the grave?
