Lamentations 3:58–59

58 “You have taken up my cause, O Lord;

you have redeemed my life.

59 You have seen the wrong done to me, O Lord;

judge my cause.

58 O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life.

59 O Lord, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause.

58 Lord, you have come to my defense;

you have redeemed my life.

59 You have seen the wrong they have done to me, Lord.

Be my judge, and prove me right.

58 O Lord, You have pleaded the case for my soul;

You have redeemed my life.

59 O Lord, You have seen how I am wronged;

Judge my case.

58 Lord, you have taken my case

and given me back my life.

59 Lord, you have seen how I have been wronged.

Now judge my case for me.

58 O Lord, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life. 59 O Jehovah, thou hast seen my wrong; judge thou my cause.

58 Lord, thou hast pleaded the cause of my soul, thou hast redeemed my life. 59 Jehovah, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause.

58 Plead my case for me, O Lord. Reclaim my life. 

59 Look at the wrong that has been done to me, O Lord. 

Give me a fair verdict. 

58 You defend my cause, Lord;

You redeem my life.

59 Lord, You see the wrong done to me;

judge my case.

58 You have taken up my cause, O Lord;

you have redeemed my life.

59 You have seen the wrong done to me, O Lord;

judge my cause.

58 O Lord, you have pleaded for my cause,

you have redeemed my life.

59 You have seen my injustice, O Yahweh;

judge my case.

58 Lord, you stood up for me in court.

You saved my life and set me free.

59 Lord, you have seen the wrong things

people have done to me.

Stand up for me again!

58 O Lord, You have pleaded my soul’s cause;

You have redeemed my life.

59 O Lord, You have seen my oppression;

Judge my case.
