Job 36:8–10

But if people are bound in chains,x

held fast by cords of affliction,y

he tells them what they have done—

that they have sinned arrogantly.z

10 He makes them listena to correctionb

and commands them to repent of their evil.c

Job 36:8–10 — English Standard Version (ESV)

And if they are bound in chains

and caught in the cords of affliction,

then he declares to them their work

and their transgressions, that they are behaving arrogantly.

10 He opens their ears to instruction

and commands that they return from iniquity.
