Jeremiah 37:15–16

15 They were angry with Jeremiah and had him beatenn and imprisonedo in the housep of Jonathan the secretary, which they had made into a prison.

16 Jeremiah was put into a vaulted cell in a dungeon, where he remained a long time.

Jeremiah 37:15–16 — English Standard Version (ESV)

15 And the officials were enraged at Jeremiah, and they beat him and imprisoned him in the house of Jonathan the secretary, for it had been made a prison.

16 When Jeremiah had come to the dungeon cells and remained there many days,
