Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. Therefore do not become partners with them; for at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), 10 and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord.

Ephesians 5:6–10 — New Living Translation (NLT)

Don’t be fooled by those who try to excuse these sins, for the anger of God will fall on all who disobey him. Don’t participate in the things these people do. 10 Carefully determine what pleases the Lord.

Ephesians 5:6–10 — New Century Version (NCV)

Do not let anyone fool you by telling you things that are not true, because these things will bring God’s anger on those who do not obey him. So have nothing to do with them. Light brings every kind of goodness, right living, and truth. 10 Try to learn what pleases the Lord.

Ephesians 5:6–10 — American Standard Version (ASV)

Let no man deceive you with empty words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience. Ephesians 5:6–10 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

Let no one deceive you with vain words, for on account of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.
