Peter Again Says He Is Not Jesus’ Disciple
25Simon Peter stood there. He was warming himself. Then someone asked him, “You aren’t one of Jesus’ disciples, are you?”
He said, “I am not.”
26One of the high priest’s servants was a relative of the man whose ear Peter had cut off. He said to Peter, “Didn’t I see you with Jesus in the olive grove?”
27Again Peter said no.
At that very moment a rooster began to crow.
