13“So commit yourself to God completely.

Reach out your hands to him for help.

14Get rid of all of the sin you have.

Don’t let anything that is evil stay in your tent.

15Then you can face others without feeling any shame.

You can stand firm without being afraid.

you will stand firm and without fear.

As for you, if you redirect your heart

and spread out your hands to him in prayer—

if there is iniquity in your hand, remove it,

and don’t allow injustice to dwell in your tents—

then you will hold your head high, free from fault.

You will be firmly established and unafraid.

NLTNew Living Translation

LEBThe Lexham English Bible

“If you yourself direct your heart

and stretch out your hands to him—

if iniquity is in your hand, put it far away,

surely then you will lift up your face without blemish,

and you will be firmly established and will not fear.

KJV 1900King James Version

If thou prepare thine heart,
