^5:27When they had brought them, they stood them before the council,⁷⁰ and the high priest questioned⁷¹ them,

71 Or “interrogated,” “asked.”

And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest questioned them,

The apostles were brought in and made to appear before the Sanhedrin to be questioned by the high priest.

After they brought them in, they had them stand before the Sanhedrin, and the high priest asked,

Then they brought the apostles before the high council, where the high priest confronted them.

And when they had brought them, they made them stand in the Sanhedrin, and the high priest put a question to them,

And when they had brought them, they set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,
