74 Heb “the bread of the face [or presence].” Many recent English versions employ “the bread of the Presence,” although this does not convey much to the modern reader. This bread was viewed as a perpetual offering to God and was regarded as holy. See Lev 24:5–9.

So Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of the Lord: the golden altar, the golden table for the bread of the Presence,

Solomon also made all the furnishings that were in the Lord’s temple:

the golden altar;

the golden table on which was the bread of the Presence;

Solomon also made all the equipment in the Lord’s temple: the gold altar; the gold table that the Bread of the Presence was placed on;

Solomon also made all the furnishings of the Temple of the Lord:

the gold altar;

the gold table for the Bread of the Presence;
