28All these things happened to King Nebuchadnezzar. 29Twelve months later as he was walking on the roof n of his palace in Babylon, 30he said, “I have built this great Babylon as my royal home. I built it by my power to show my glory and my majesty.”

- nroof In Bible times houses were built with flat roofs. The roof was used for drying things such as flax and fruit. And it was used as an extra room, as a place for worship, and as a cool place to sleep in the summer.
