Jeremiah 3:1
Jeremiah 3:1 — The New International Version (NIV)
1 “If a man divorces his wife

would you now return to me?”

and would you return to me?
declares the Lord.
Jeremiah 3:1 — King James Version (KJV 1900)

Jeremiah 3:1 — New Living Translation (NLT)

so why are you trying to come back to me?”
says the Lord.

and now you want to come back to me?” says the Lord.
Jeremiah 3:1 — American Standard Version (ASV)

and she leaves him to marry another,

This is the Lord’s declaration.

would you now return to me?” declares Yahweh.

You have loved many other gods.
So do you think you can return to me now?”
