Jeremiah 13:18–20

18 Say to the aking and the queen mother,

bTake a lowly seat,

For your beautiful ccrown

Has come down from your head.”

19 The acities of the Negev have been locked up,

And there is no one to open them;

All bJudah has been carried into exile,

Wholly carried into exile.

“Come down from your thrones,

for your glorious crowns

will fall from your heads.”

19 The cities in the Negev will be shut up,

and there will be no one to open them.

All Judah will be carried into exile,

carried completely away.
