Hosea 6:1–3 — The New International Version (NIV)

“Come, let us return to the Lord.

He has torn us to pieces

but he will heal us;

he has injured us

but he will bind up our wounds.

After two days he will revive us;

on the third day he will restore us,

that we may live in his presence.

Let us acknowledge the Lord;

let us press on to acknowledge him.

As surely as the sun rises,

he will appear;

he will come to us like the winter rains,

like the spring rains that water the earth.”

Hosea 6:1–3 — English Standard Version (ESV)

“Come, let us return to the Lord;

for he has torn us, that he may heal us;

he has struck us down, and he will bind us up.

After two days he will revive us;

on the third day he will raise us up,

that we may live before him.

Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord;

his going out is sure as the dawn;

he will come to us as the showers,

as the spring rains that water the earth.”

Hosea 6:1–3 — King James Version (KJV 1900)

Come, and let us return unto the Lord:

For he hath torn, and he will heal us;

He hath smitten, and he will bind us up.

After two days will he revive us:

In the third day he will raise us up,

And we shall live in his sight.

Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord:

His going forth is prepared as the morning;

And he shall come unto us as the rain,

As the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Hosea 6:1–3 — New Living Translation (NLT)

“Come, let us return to the Lord.

He has torn us to pieces;

now he will heal us.

He has injured us;

now he will bandage our wounds.

In just a short time he will restore us,

so that we may live in his presence.

Oh, that we might know the Lord!

Let us press on to know him.

He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn

or the coming of rains in early spring.”

Hosea 6:1–3 — The New King James Version (NKJV)

Come, and let us return to the Lord;

For He has torn, but He will heal us;

He has stricken, but He will bind us up.

After two days He will revive us;

On the third day He will raise us up,

That we may live in His sight.

Let us know,

Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord.

His going forth is established as the morning;

He will come to us like the rain,

Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

Hosea 6:1–3 — New Century Version (NCV)

“Come, let’s go back to the Lord.

He has hurt us, but he will heal us.

He has wounded us, but he will bandage our wounds.

In two days he will put new life in us;

on the third day he will raise us up

so that we may live in his presence and know him.

Let’s try to learn about the Lord;

he will come to us as surely as the dawn comes.

He will come to us like rain,

like the spring rain that waters the ground.”

Hosea 6:1–3 — American Standard Version (ASV)

Come, and let us return unto Jehovah; for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: on the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live before him. And let us know, let us follow on to know Jehovah: his going forth is sure as the morning; and he will come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain that watereth the earth.

Hosea 6:1–3 — 1890 Darby Bible (DARBY)

Come and let us return unto Jehovah: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live before his face; and we shall know, —we shall follow on to know Jehovah: his going forth is assured as the morning dawn; and he will come unto us as the rain, as the latter rain which watereth the earth.

Hosea 6:1–3 — GOD’S WORD Translation (GW)

Let’s return to the Lord

Even though he has torn us to pieces,

he will heal us.

Even though he has wounded us,

he will bandage our wounds.

After two days he will revive us.

On the third day he will raise us

so that we may live in his presence.

Let’s learn about the Lord

Let’s get to know the Lord

He will come to us as sure as the morning comes.

He will come to us like the autumn rains and the spring rains

that water the ground.

Hosea 6:1–3 — The Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

Come, let us return to the Lord.

For He has torn us,

and He will heal us;

He has wounded us,

and He will bind up our wounds.

He will revive us after two days,

and on the third day He will raise us up

so we can live in His presence.

Let us strive to know the Lord.

His appearance is as sure as the dawn.

He will come to us like the rain,

like the spring showers that water the land.

Hosea 6:1–3 — The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)

“Come, let us return to the Lord;

for it is he who has torn, and he will heal us;

he has struck down, and he will bind us up.

After two days he will revive us;

on the third day he will raise us up,

that we may live before him.

Let us know, let us press on to know the Lord;

his appearing is as sure as the dawn;

he will come to us like the showers,

like the spring rains that water the earth.”

Hosea 6:1–3 — The Lexham English Bible (LEB)

Come, let us return to Yahweh;

because it is he who has torn, and he will heal us;

he has struck us down and will bind us up.

He will revive us after two days;

on the third day he will raise us up,

that we may live in his presence.

Let us know, let us press on to know Yahweh;

his rising is sure like the dawn.

He will come like the showers to us,

like the spring rain that waters the earth.

Hosea 6:1–3 — New International Reader’s Version (1998) (NIrV)

The people say, “Come.

Let us return to the Lord.

He has torn us to pieces.

But he will heal us.

He has wounded us.

But he’ll bandage our wounds.

After two days he will give us new life.

On the third day he’ll make us like new again.

Then we will enjoy his blessing.

Let’s recognize him as the Lord.

Let’s keep trying to really know him.

You can be sure the sun will rise.

And you can be just as sure the Lord will appear.

He will come to renew us like the winter rains.

He will be like the spring rains that water the earth.”
