Ezekiel 25:12–14
12 ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Because aEdom has acted against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has incurred grievous guilt, and avenged themselves upon them,”
13 therefore thus says the Lord God, “I will also astretch out My hand against Edom and bcut off man and beast from it. And I will lay it waste; from cTeman even to dDedan they will fall by the sword.
14 “aI will lay My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel. Therefore, they will act in Edom baccording to My anger and according to My wrath; thus they will know My vengeance,” declares the Lord God.

12 “This is what the Sovereign Lord says: ‘Because Edom took revenge on Judah and became very guilty by doing so, 13 therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will stretch out my hand against Edom and kill both man and beast. I will lay it waste, and from Teman to Dedan they will fall by the sword. 14 I will take vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel, and they will deal with Edom in accordance with my anger and my wrath; they will know my vengeance, declares the Sovereign Lord.’ ”
