Nehemiah 13:7–9

7 and I came to Jerusalem and 1learned about the evil that Eliashib had done for Tobiah, aby preparing a 2room for him in the courts of the house of God.

8 It was very displeasing to me, so I athrew all of Tobiah’s household goods out of the room.

9 Then I gave an order and athey cleansed the rooms; and I returned there the utensils of the house of God with the grain offerings and the frankincense.

Nehemiah 13:7–9 — The New International Version (NIV)

and came back to Jerusalem. Here I learned about the evil thing Eliashib had done in providing Tobiah a room in the courts of the house of God. I was greatly displeased and threw all Tobiah’s household goods out of the room. I gave orders to purify the rooms, and then I put back into them the equipment of the house of God, with the grain offerings and the incense.
