Judges 9:53–57
53 But aa certain woman threw an upper millstone on Abimelech’s head, crushing his skull.
54 Then ahe called quickly to the young man, his armor bearer, and said to him, “Draw your sword and kill me, so that it will not be said of me, ‘A woman slew him.’ ” So 1the young man pierced him through, and he died.
55 When the men of Israel saw that Abimelech was dead, each departed to his 1home.
56 Thus aGod repaid the wickedness of Abimelech, which he had done to his father in killing his seventy brothers.
57 Also God returned all the wickedness of the men of Shechem on their heads, and the curse of Jotham the son of Jerubbaal came 1upon them.

Judges 9:53–57 — The New International Version (NIV)
53 a woman dropped an upper millstone on his head and cracked his skull.
54 Hurriedly he called to his armor-bearer, “Draw your sword and kill me, so that they can’t say, ‘A woman killed him.’ ” So his servant ran him through, and he died. 55 When the Israelites saw that Abimelek was dead, they went home.
56 Thus God repaid the wickedness that Abimelek had done to his father by murdering his seventy brothers. 57 God also made the people of Shechem pay for all their wickedness. The curse of Jotham son of Jerub-Baal came on them.
