Jeremiah 50:36–37

36 A sword against her false prophets!

They will become fools.

A sword against her warriors!

They will be filled with terror.

37 A sword against her horses and chariots

and all the foreigners in her ranks!

They will become weaklings.

A sword against her treasures!

They will be plundered.

36 A sword against the diviners,

that they may become fools!

A sword against her warriors,

that they may be destroyed!

37 A sword against her horses and against her chariots,

and against all the foreign troops in her midst,

that they may become women!

A sword against all her treasures,

that they may be plundered!

36 A sword is upon the liars; and they shall dote:

A sword is upon her mighty men; and they shall be dismayed.

37 A sword is upon their horses, and upon their chariots,

And upon all the mingled people that are in the midst of her;

And they shall become as women:

A sword is upon her treasures; and they shall be robbed.

36 The sword will strike her wise counselors,

and they will become fools.

The sword will strike her mightiest warriors,

and panic will seize them.

37 The sword will strike her horses and chariots

and her allies from other lands,

and they will all become like women.

The sword will strike her treasures,

and they all will be plundered.

36 A sword is against the soothsayers, and they will be fools.

A sword is against her mighty men, and they will be dismayed.

37 A sword is against their horses,

Against their chariots,

And against all the mixed peoples who are in her midst;

And they will become like women.

A sword is against her treasures, and they will be robbed.

36 Let a sword kill her false prophets,

and they will become fools.

Let a sword kill her warriors,

and they will be full of terror.

37 Let a sword kill her horses and chariots

and all the soldiers hired from other countries!

Then they will be like frightened women.

Let a sword attack her treasures,

so they will be taken away.

36 A sword is upon the boasters, and they shall become fools; a sword is upon her mighty men, and they shall be dismayed. 37 A sword is upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that are in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword is upon her treasures, and they shall be robbed.

37 A sword will kill their horses, their chariots, 

and all the foreigners within their ranks. 

They will become women. 

A sword will destroy their treasures, and they will be looted. 

36 A sword is against the diviners,

and they will act foolishly.

A sword is against her heroic warriors,

and they will be terrified.

37 A sword is against his horses and chariots

and against all the foreigners among them,

and they will be like women.

A sword is against her treasuries,

and they will be plundered.

36 A sword against the diviners,

so that they may become fools!

A sword against her warriors,

so that they may be dismayed!

37 A sword against her horses and against her chariots

and against all the foreign troops in her midst,

so that they may become women!

A sword against her treasures,

36 A sword against the oracle priests,

and they will become foolish.

A sword against her warriors,

and they will be filled with terror.

37 A sword against his horses,

and against his chariots,

and against all the foreign troops who are in the midst of her,

so that they may become as women.

A sword against her treasures,

so that they may be plundered.

36 A sword is coming against their prophets.

But they are not really prophets at all!

So they will look foolish.

A sword is coming against their soldiers!

They will be filled with terror.

37 A sword is coming against their horses and chariots!

It is coming against all of the hired soldiers in their armies.

They will become like weak women.

A sword is coming against their treasures!

They will be stolen.
