26 He lifts up a banner for the distant nations,

he whistles for those at the ends of the earth.

Here they come,

swiftly and speedily!

27 Not one of them grows tired or stumbles,

not one slumbers or sleeps;

not a belt is loosened at the waist,

not a sandal strap is broken.

28 Their arrows are sharp,

all their bows are strung;

their horses’ hooves seem like flint,

their chariot wheels like a whirlwind.

26 He will raise a signal for nations far away,

and whistle for them from the ends of the earth;

and behold, quickly, speedily they come!

27 None is weary, none stumbles,

none slumbers or sleeps,

not a waistband is loose,

not a sandal strap broken;

28 their arrows are sharp,

all their bows bent,

their horses’ hoofs seem like flint,

and their wheels like the whirlwind.

26 And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far,

And will hiss unto them from the end of the earth:

And, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:

27 None shall be weary nor stumble among them;

None shall slumber nor sleep;

Neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed,

Nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:

28 Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent,

Their horses’ hoofs shall be counted like flint,

And their wheels like a whirlwind:

and whistle to those at the ends of the earth.

They will come racing toward Jerusalem.

27 They will not get tired or stumble.

They will not stop for rest or sleep.

Not a belt will be loose,

not a sandal strap broken.

28 Their arrows will be sharp

and their bows ready for battle.

Sparks will fly from their horses’ hooves,

and the wheels of their chariots will spin like a whirlwind.

26 He will lift up a banner to the nations from afar,

And will whistle to them from the end of the earth;

Surely they shall come with speed, swiftly.

27 No one will be weary or stumble among them,

No one will slumber or sleep;

Nor will the belt on their loins be loosed,

Nor the strap of their sandals be broken;

Their horses’ hooves will seem like flint,

And their wheels like a whirlwind.

Look! The enemy comes quickly!

Their weapons are close at hand,

and their sandal straps are not broken.

and all of their bows are ready to shoot.

The horses’ hoofs are hard as rocks,

and their chariot wheels move like a whirlwind.

26 And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss for them from the end of the earth; and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly. 27 None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken: 28 whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent; their horses’ hoofs shall be accounted as flint, and their wheels as a whirlwind:

26 And he will lift up a banner to the nations afar off, and will hiss for one from the end of the earth; and behold, it will come rapidly and lightly. 27 None among them is weary, none stumbleth; they slumber not, nor sleep; none hath the girdle of his loins loosed, nor the thong of his sandals broken; 28 their arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent; their horses’ hoofs are reckoned as the flint, and their wheels as a whirlwind.

26 The Lord raises up a flag for the nations far away. 

With a whistle he signals those at the ends of the earth. 

Look, they are coming very quickly!

The belts on their waists aren’t loose 

or their sandal straps broken. 

28 Their arrows are sharpened; all their bows are ready to shoot. 

Their horses’ hoofs are as hard as flint. 

Their chariot wheels are as quick as the wind.

and their wheels like the whirlwind.

And look! It comes quickly, swiftly!

and no thong of his sandals is drawn away.

and all of his bows are bent.

The hoofs of his horses are reckoned like flint,

and his wheels like the storm wind.

He whistles for them to come

from the farthest places on earth.

Here they come.

They are moving very quickly.

27 None of them grows tired.

None of them falls down.

None of them sleeps or even takes a nap.

All of them are ready for battle.

Every belt is pulled tight.

Not a single sandal strap is broken.

28 The enemies’ arrows are sharp.

All of their bows are ready.

The hoofs of their horses are as hard as rock.

Their chariot wheels turn like a twister.
