1 Chronicles 29:17–19

17 “Since I know, O my God, that aYou try the heart and bdelight in uprightness, I, in the integrity of my heart, have willingly offered all these things; so now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly to You.

18 “O Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, our fathers, preserve this forever in the 1intentions of the heart of Your people, and direct their heart to You;

19 and agive to my son Solomon a perfect heart to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies and Your statutes, and to do them all, and bto build the 1temple, for which I have made provision.”

17 I know, my God, that you test the heart and are pleased with integrity. All these things I have given willingly and with honest intent. And now I have seen with joy how willingly your people who are here have given to you. 18 Lord, the God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Israel, keep these desires and thoughts in the hearts of your people forever, and keep their hearts loyal to you. 19 And give my son Solomon the wholehearted devotion to keep your commands, statutes and decrees and to do everything to build the palatial structure for which I have provided.”
