Luke 9:4–6

4 Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave that town. 5 If people do not welcome you, leave their town and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” 6 So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere.

4 And whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. 5 And wherever they do not receive you, when you leave that town shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” 6 And they departed and went through the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

4 And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart. 5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them. 6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.

4 Wherever you go, stay in the same house until you leave town. 5 And if a town refuses to welcome you, shake its dust from your feet as you leave to show that you have abandoned those people to their fate.”

6 So they began their circuit of the villages, preaching the Good News and healing the sick.

4 “Whatever house you enter, stay there, and from there depart. 5 And whoever will not receive you, when you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet as a testimony against them.”

6 So they departed and went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.

4 When you enter a house, stay there until it is time to leave. 5 If people do not welcome you, shake the dust off of your feet as you leave the town, as a warning to them.”

6 So the apostles went out and traveled through all the towns, preaching the Good News and healing people everywhere.

4 And into whatsoever house ye enter, there abide, and thence depart. 5 And as many as receive you not, when ye depart from that city, shake off the dust from your feet for a testimony against them. 6 And they departed, and went throughout the villages, preaching the gospel, and healing everywhere.

4 And into whatsoever house ye enter, there abide and thence go forth. 5 And as many as may not receive you, going forth from that city, shake off even the dust from your feet for a witness against them. 6 And going forth they passed through the villages, announcing the glad tidings and healing everywhere.

4 When you go into a home, stay there until you’re ready to leave. 5 If people don’t welcome you, leave that city, and shake its dust off your feet as a warning to them.” 

6 The apostles went from village to village, told the Good News, and cured the sick everywhere. 

4 Whatever house you enter, stay there and leave from there. 5 If they do not welcome you, when you leave that town, shake off the dust from your feet as a testimony against them.” 6 So they went out and traveled from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing everywhere.

4 Whatever house you enter, stay there, and leave from there. 5 Wherever they do not welcome you, as you are leaving that town shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.” 6 So they departed and went through the villages, bringing the good news and curing diseases everywhere.

4 And into whatever house you enter, stay there and depart from there. 5 And as for all those who do not welcome you—when you depart from that town, shake off the dust from your feet for a testimony against them.” 6 So they departed and went throughout the villages, proclaiming the good news and healing everywhere.

4 When you are invited into a house, stay there until you leave town. 5 Some people may not welcome you. If they don’t, shake the dust off your feet when you leave their town. This will be a witness against the people living there.”

6 So the Twelve left. They went from village to village. They preached the good news and healed people everywhere.

6 Departing, they began going throughout the villages, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere.
