Luke 19:38–39

38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”

“Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”

38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. 39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.

38 “Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the Lord!

Peace in heaven, and glory in highest heaven!”

39 But some of the Pharisees among the crowd said, “Teacher, rebuke your followers for saying things like that!”

38 saying:

“ ‘Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!’

Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

39 And some of the Pharisees called to Him from the crowd, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.”

38 They said,

“God bless the king who comes in the name of the Lord!

There is peace in heaven and glory to God!”

39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, tell your followers not to say these things.”

38 saying, Blessed is the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. 39 And some of the Pharisees from the multitude said unto him, Teacher, rebuke thy disciples.

38 saying, Blessed the King that comes in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. 39 And some of the Pharisees from the crowd said to him, Teacher, rebuke thy disciples.

38 They shouted joyfully, 

“Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! 

Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest heaven.” 

39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, tell your disciples to be quiet.” 

38 The King who comes

in the name of the Lord

is the blessed One.

Peace in heaven

and glory in the highest heaven!

39 Some of the Pharisees from the crowd told Him, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.”

38 saying,

“Blessed is the king

who comes in the name of the Lord!

Peace in heaven,

and glory in the highest heaven!”

39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, order your disciples to stop.”

38 saying,

“Blessed is the king,

the one who comes in the name of the Lord!

Peace in heaven

and glory in the highest!”

39 And some of the Pharisees from the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”

38 “Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”

“May there be peace and glory in the highest heaven!”

39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd spoke to Jesus. “Teacher,” they said, “tell your disciples to stop!”

38 shouting:

“Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord;

Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”

39 Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.”
