¹³^aAnd He ^*said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How will you understand all the parables?

*Marks verbs that are historical presents in the Greek which have been translated with an English past tense in order to conform to modern usage.

And he said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables?

Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t you understand this parable? How then will you understand any parable?

Then he said to them, “Don’t you understand this parable? How then will you understand all of the parables?

Then Jesus said to them, “If you can’t understand the meaning of this parable, how will you understand all the other parables?

And he said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? And how will you understand all the parables?

And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
