The Great Day of Yahweh
“1For behold, the day is coming, aburning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every worker of wickedness will be bchaff; and the day that is coming will cset them aflame,” says Yahweh of hosts, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.”
“But for you who 1fear My name, the asun of righteousness will rise with bhealing in its wings; and you will go forth and cskip about like calves from the stall.
“And you will atread down the wicked, for they will be bashes under the soles of your feet con the day 1which I am preparing,” says Yahweh of hosts.
“1aRemember the law of Moses My servant, even the statutes and judgments which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel.
“Behold, I am going to send you aElijah the prophet before the coming of the great and awesome day of Yahweh.
“And he will aturn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and bstrike the land, 1devoting it to destruction.”
