Yahweh Takes Pleasure in His People

1 1Praise Yah!

Sing to Yahweh a anew song,

His praise bin the assembly of the holy ones.

2 Let Israel be glad in ahis Maker;

Let the sons of Zion rejoice in their bKing.

3 Let them praise His name with adancing;

With btambourine and lyre let them sing praises to Him.

4 For Yahweh atakes pleasure in His people;

He will bbeautify the afflicted ones with salvation.

5 Let the aholy ones exult in glory;

Let them bsing for joy on their beds.

6 Let the aexaltations of God be in their throats,

And a btwo-edged csword in their hand,

7 To aexecute vengeance on the nations

And punishments on the peoples,

8 To bind their kings awith chains

And their bhonored men with fetters of iron,

9 To aexecute on them the judgment written;

This is the bmajesty of all His holy ones.
