Nehemiah 7:6–60

⁶These are the people of the province who came up from captivity of the exiles whom Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had carried into exile. They returned to Jerusalem and to Judah, each one to his city. ⁷These came with Zerubbabel, Joshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah.

⁴³The Levites: the descendants^c of Jeshua, namely of Kadmiel of the descendants^d of Hodaviah, seventy-four. ⁴⁴The singers: the descendants^e of Asaph, one hundred and forty-eight. ⁴⁵The gatekeepers: the descendants^f of Shallum, the descendants^g of Ater, the descendants^h of Talmon, the descendantsⁱ of Akkub, the descendants^j of Hatita, the descendants^k of Shobai, one hundred and thirty-eight.
