9 Jotham rested with his ancestors and was buried in the City of David. And Ahaz his son succeeded him as king.

1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem sixteen years. Unlike David his father, he did not do what was right in the eyes of the Lord.

9 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David, and Ahaz his son reigned in his place.

1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And he did not do what was right in the eyes of the Lord, as his father David had done,

9 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.

1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: but he did not that which was right in the sight of the Lord, like David his father:

9 When Jotham died, he was buried in the City of David. And his son Ahaz became the next king.

9 So Jotham rested with his fathers, and they buried him in the City of David. Then Ahaz his son reigned in his place.

9 Jotham died and was buried in Jerusalem, the city of David. Then Jotham’s son Ahaz became king in his place.

9 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.

9 Jotham lay down in death with his ancestors, and they buried him in the City of David. His son Ahaz succeeded him as king. 

1 Ahaz was 20 years old when he began to rule. He ruled for 26 years in Jerusalem. He didn’t do what the Lord considered right, as his ancestor David had done.

1 Ahaz was 20 years old when he became king and reigned 16 years in Jerusalem. He did not do what was right in the Lord’s sight like his ancestor David,

9 Jotham slept with his ancestors, and they buried him in the city of David; and his son Ahaz succeeded him.

9 Jotham joined the members of his family who had already died. His body was buried in the City of David. His son Ahaz became the next king after him.

1 Ahaz was 20 years old when he became king. He ruled in Jerusalem for 16 years.

He didn’t do what was right in the eyes of the Lord. He didn’t do what King David had done.

9 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David; and Ahaz his son became king in his place.
