Numbers 22:19–21

19 Now spend the night here so that I can find out what else the Lord will tell me.”

20 That night God came to Balaam and said, “Since these men have come to summon you, go with them, but do only what I tell you.”

21 Balaam got up in the morning, saddled his donkey and went with the Moabite officials.

19 So you, too, please stay here tonight, that I may know what more the Lord will say to me.” 20 And God came to Balaam at night and said to him, “If the men have come to call you, rise, go with them; but only do what I tell you.” 21 So Balaam rose in the morning and saddled his donkey and went with the princes of Moab.

19 Now therefore, I pray you, tarry ye also here this night, that I may know what the Lord will say unto me more. 20 And God came unto Balaam at night, and said unto him, If the men come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but yet the word which I shall say unto thee, that shalt thou do. 21 And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his ass, and went with the princes of Moab.

19 But stay here one more night, and I will see if the Lord has anything else to say to me.”

20 That night God came to Balaam and told him, “Since these men have come for you, get up and go with them. But do only what I tell you to do.”

21 So the next morning Balaam got up, saddled his donkey, and started off with the Moabite officials.

19 Now therefore, please, you also stay here tonight, that I may know what more the Lord will say to me.”

20 And God came to Balaam at night and said to him, “If the men come to call you, rise and go with them; but only the word which I speak to you—that you shall do.” 21 So Balaam rose in the morning, saddled his donkey, and went with the princes of Moab.

19 You stay here tonight as the other men did, and I will find out what more the Lord tells me.”

20 That night God came to Balaam and said, “These men have come to ask you to go with them. Go, but only do what I tell you.”

21 Balaam got up the next morning and put a saddle on his donkey. Then he went with the Moabite leaders.

21 And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his ass, and went with the princes of Moab.

19 And now, I pray you, abide ye also here this night, and I shall know what Jehovah will say to me further. 20 Then God came to Balaam at night, and said to him, If the men have come to call thee, rise up, and go with them; but only what I shall say unto thee shalt thou do. 21 And Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his ass, and went with the princes of Moab.

19 Now, why don’t you stay here tonight, as the others did, and I’ll find out what else the Lord may have to tell me.” 

20 That night God came to Balaam and said, “If these men have come to summon you, go with them, but do only what I tell you.” 

21 When Balaam got up in the morning, he saddled his donkey and left with the Moabite princes. 

19 Please stay here overnight as the others did, so that I may find out what else the Lord has to tell me.”

20 God came to Balaam at night and said to him, “Since these men have come to summon you, get up and go with them, but you must only do what I tell you.” 21 When he got up in the morning, Balaam saddled his donkey and went with the officials of Moab.

19 You also stay here overnight, so that I may learn what more the Lord may say to me.” 20 That night God came to Balaam and said to him, “If the men have come to summon you, get up and go with them, but do only what I tell you to do.” 21 So Balaam got up in the morning, saddled his donkey, and went with the officials of Moab.

19 Stay here tonight, just as the others did. I’ll find out what else the Lord will tell me.”

20 That night God came to Balaam. He said, “These men have come to get you. So go with them. But do only what I tell you to do.”

21 Balaam got up in the morning. He put a saddle on his donkey. Then he went with the princes of Moab.

19 “Now please, you also stay here tonight, and I will find out what else the Lord will speak to me.”

20 God came to Balaam at night and said to him, “If the men have come to call you, rise up and go with them; but only the word which I speak to you shall you do.”

21 So Balaam arose in the morning, and saddled his donkey and went with the leaders of Moab.
