Jeremiah 39:14–15

14 And they sent and took Jeremiah from the courtyard of the guard and gave him to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, to take him to the house, so he stayed in the midst of the people.

Jeremiah 39:14–15 — The New International Version (NIV)

14 sent and had Jeremiah taken out of the courtyard of the guard. They turned him over to Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, to take him back to his home. So he remained among his own people.

15 While Jeremiah had been confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the Lord came to him:

15 The word of the Lord came to Jeremiah while he was shut up in the court of the guard:

15 Now the word of the Lord came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
