10 “What!” exclaimed the king of Israel. “Has the Lord called us three kings together only to deliver us into the hands of Moab?”

10 Then the king of Israel said, “Alas! The Lord has called these three kings to give them into the hand of Moab.”

10 And the king of Israel said, Alas! that the Lord hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab!

10 “What should we do?” the king of Israel cried out. “The Lord has brought the three of us here to let the king of Moab defeat us.”

10 And the king of Israel said, “Alas! For the Lord has called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab.”

10 The king of Israel said, “This is terrible! The Lord has called us three kings together to hand us over to the Moabites!”

10 And the king of Israel said, Alas! for Jehovah hath called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab.

10 And the king of Israel said, Alas! that Jehovah has called these three kings together, to give them into the hand of Moab!

10 The king of Israel said, “Oh no! The Lord has put the three of us at the mercy of ⸤the people of⸥ Moab.” 

10 Then the king of Israel said, “Oh no, the Lord has summoned three kings, only to hand them over to Moab.”

10 Then the king of Israel said, “Alas! The Lord has summoned us, three kings, only to be handed over to Moab.”

10 “What should we do now?” exclaimed the king of Israel. “The Lord has called us three kings together. Did he do it only to hand us over to Moab?”

10 Then the king of Israel said, “Alas! For the Lord has called these three kings to give them into the hand of Moab.”
