Revelation 6:1–19:21
And aI saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, aaas it were the noise of thunder, bone of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold cda white horse: dand he that sat on him ehad a bow; and fa crown was given unto him: and he went forth gconquering, and to conquer.
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard hthe second beast say, Come and see. 4 And there went out another ihorse that was red: and jpower was given to him that sat thereon kto take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard hthe third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo la black horse; and he that sat on him had ma pair of balances in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, ||nA measure of wheat for oa penny, and three measures of barley for oa penny; and see thou oohurt not the oil and the wine.
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of hthe fourth beast say, Come and see. 8 And I looked, and behold pa pale horse: and his name that sat on him was qDeath, and qHell followed with him. And power was given ||unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill rswith sword, and nrswith hunger, and rswith death, and rtwith the beasts of the earth.
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw uunder vthe altar wxthe souls of them that were slain yfor the word of God, and yyfor the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, xHow long, zO Lord, aholy and true, dost thou not bjudge and cavenge our blood on dthem that dwell on the earth? 11 And ewhite robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, fthat they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, gshould be fulfilled.
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, hthere was a great earthquake; and ithe sun became black as sackcloth of khair, and ilthe moon became as blood; 13 And imthe stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even nas a fig tree casteth her ||untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And othe heaven departed pas a scroll when it is rolled together; and every qrmountain and risland were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and stthe great men, and the rich men, and the suchief captains, and vthe mighty men, and wevery bondman, and wevery free man, xhid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16 yAnd said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of zhim that sitteth on the throne, and from athe wrath of the Lamb: 17 For bthe great day of his wrath is come; and cwho shall be able dto stand?
7 And after these things I saw afour angels standing on athe four corners of the earth, holding bthe four winds of the earth, fthat the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from cthe east, having dthe seal of ethe living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, fHurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have dsealed the servants of our God gin their foreheads. 4 hAnd I heard ithe number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed kan hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand.
Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand.
Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand.
Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand.
Of the tribe of lManasses were sealed twelve thousand.
7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand.
Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand.
Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand.
Of the tribe of lJoseph were sealed twelve thousand.
Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, ma great multitude, which no man could number, nof all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with owhite robes, and ppalms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, qSalvation to our God rwhich sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11 And all the angels stood sround about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12 Saying, tAmen: uBlessing, and uglory, and uwisdom, and vthanksgiving, and uhonour, and upower, and umight, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. 13 And one of the elders wanswered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in owhite robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, xSir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of ygreat tribulation, and have zwashed their robes, and omade them white ain the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him bday and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne cshall dwell among them. 16 dThey shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; deneither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne fshall feed them, and gshall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and hGod shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
8 And awhen he had opened bthe seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
2 And I saw cthe seven angels dwhich stood before God; and to them were given seven etrumpets. 3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having fa golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should ||offer it with gthe prayers of all saints upon hthe golden altar which was before the throne. 4 And the smoke of the incense, which came gwith the prayers of the saints, iascended up before God out of the angel’s hand. 5 And the angel took fthe censer, and kfilled it with fire of hthe altar, and cast it ||jinto the earth: and there were lvoices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and man earthquake. 6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
7 The first angel sounded, and there followed nohail and nfire mingled with blood, and they were cast pupon the earth: and ppthe third part of qrtrees was burnt up, and all qgreen grass was burnt up.
8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were sa great mountain burning with fire was cast jtinto the sea: and the third part of tthe sea ubecame blood; 9 And the third part of tthe creatures which were in the sea, tand had life, died; and the third part of vthe ships were destroyed.
10 And wthe third angel sounded, and xthere fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were ya lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the zrivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11 And the name of the star is called aWormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, bbecause they were made bitter.
12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of cthe sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. 13 And I beheld, and heard dan angel deflying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, fWoe, woe, gwoe, to ghthe inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
9 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw aa star bfall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given cthe key of dthe bottomless pit. 2 And he opened dthe bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of ea great furnace; and fthe sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 3 And there came out of the smoke glocusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as hthe scorpions of the earth have power. 4 And it was commanded them ithat they should not hurt kthe grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not lthe seal of God in their foreheads. 5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented mfive months: and their torment was as the torment of ha scorpion, when he striketh a man. 6 And in those days nshall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. 7 And othe shapes of gthe locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were pcrowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces qof men. 8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and rtheir teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was sas the sound of chariots of many horses running tto battle. 10 And they had tails like unto hscorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men mfive months. 11 And they had ua king over them, which is athe angel of dthe bottomless pit, whose name vin the Hebrew tongue is wAbaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name ||xApollyon. 12 yOne woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.
13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from zthe four horns of athe golden altar which is before God, 14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose bthe four angels which are bound in cthe great river Euphrates. 15 And bthe four angels were loosed, which were prepared ||for dan hour, and efa day, and ga month, and fa year, for to slay ffthe third part of men. 16 And hthe number of the army iof the horsemen were htwo hundred thousand thousand: kand I heard the number of them. 17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and l
