Revelation 21–22

21 And I saw aa new heaven and a new earth: for bthe first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and cthere was no more sea. And I dJohn saw ethe holy city, fnew Jerusalem, fgcoming down from God out of heaven, prepared has a bride iadorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, jthe tabernacle of God is with men, and he will kdwell with them, and jthey shall be his people, and lGod himself shall be with them, and be their God. And llGod shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and mthere shall be no more death, nneither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for bthe former things are passed away. And ohe that sat upon the throne said, Behold, pI make all things new. And he said unto me, qWrite: for rthese words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, sIt is done. tI am Alpha and Omega, tthe beginning and the end. uI will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life vfreely. wHe that overcometh xshall inherit ||yall things; and zI will be his God, and he shall be amy son. But bthe fearful, and iunbelieving, and cthe abominable, and demurderers, and dfwhoremongers, and dgsorcerers, and didolaters, and dhall liars, shall have their ipart in jthe lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is kthe second death.

And there came unto me lone of mthe seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, lCome hither, I will shew thee nthe bride, the Lamb’s wife. 10 And ohe carried me away oin the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, nthe holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11 pHaving the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like qa jasper stone, rclear as crystal; 12 And had a wall great and high, and shad twelve tgates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13 suOn the east three tgates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. 14 And the wall of vthe city had twelve wfoundations, and xin them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he that talked with me had a golden yreed to measure the city, and the tgates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with ythe reed, twelve thousand zfurlongs. aThe length and athe breadth and athe height of it are bequal. 17 And he measured cthe wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to dthe measure of a man, ethat is, of the angel. 18 And the building of the wall of it was of fjasper: and the city was jpure gold, glike unto clear glass. 19 And hthe foundations of the wall of the city were igarnished with all manner of jprecious stones. The first foundation was fjasper; the second, hjksapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an jlemerald; 20 The fifth, msardonyx; the sixth, lsardius; the seventh, nchrysolite; the eighth, joberyl; the ninth, a ptopaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a qjacinth; the twelfth, an ramethyst. 21 And the twelve gates were twelve spearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and tthe street of the city was jpure gold, gas it were transparent glass. 22 And uI saw no temple therein: for the Lord God vAlmighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23 And wthe city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for wxthe glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 24 And ythe nations of zthem which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and athe kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 25 And bthe gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for cthere shall be no night there. 26 And athey shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 27 And dthere shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever cworketh abomination, or maketh ea lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s fbook of life.

22 And he shewed me aa pure river of water of life, bclear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the midst of cthe street of it, and don either side of the river, was there ethe tree of life, which bare ftwelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and dthe leaves of the tree were gfor the healing of the nations. And hthere shall be no more curse: but ithe throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And kthey shall see his face; and lhis name shall be in their foreheads. And mthere shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for nthe Lord God giveth them light: and othey shall reign for ever and ever.

And he said unto me, pThese sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the ppholy prophets qsent his angel qto shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done. rBehold, I come quickly: sblessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

And I tJohn saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, uI fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things. uThen saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God. 10 And he saith unto me, vSeal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: wfor the time is at hand. 11 xHe that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and yhe that is holy, let him be holy still. 12 And, rzbehold, I come quickly; and amy reward is with me, bto give every man according as his work shall be. 13 cI am Alpha and Omega, cthe beginning and the end, dthe first and the last. 14 eBlessed are they that do his commandments, ethat they may have right to fthe tree of life, and gmay enter in through the hgates into the city. 15 For iwithout are kdogs, and lsorcerers, and lwhoremongers, and lmurderers, and lidolaters, and lwhosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

16 mI Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. nI am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and omorning pstar. 17 And the Spirit and qthe bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And rlet him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take rsthe water of life freely. 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, tIf any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, uGod shall take away his part ||out of vthe book of life, and out of wthe holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. 20 He which testifieth these things saith, xSurely I come quickly. Amen. yEven so, come, Lord Jesus. 21 zThe grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

THE END.
