Psalm 70
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, *to bring to remembrance.
1 Make haste, aO God, to deliver me;
Make haste †to help me, O Lord.
2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul:
Let them be turned backward, and bput to confusion, bthat desire my hurt.
3 Let them cbe turned back for a reward of their shame
That say, Aha, aha.
4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee:
And let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
5 But I am poor and needy: dmake haste unto me, O God:
Thou art my help and my deliverer;

1 Hasten, O God, to save me;
come quickly, Lord, to help me.
2 May those who want to take my life
be put to shame and confusion;
may all who desire my ruin
be turned back in disgrace.
3 May those who say to me, “Aha! Aha!”
turn back because of their shame.
4 But may all who seek you
rejoice and be glad in you;
may those who long for your saving help always say,
“The Lord is great!”
5 But as for me, I am poor and needy;
